Anusara yoga
is a dynamic style of hatha yoga which combines sophisticated alignment
principles with an uplifting and life affirming Tantric philosophy.
This gives the practitioner excellent tools for a safe and structured
practice in an all-embracing and allowing atmosphere.
Mindfulness Yoga uses the asanas to expand our awareness
of our body, of our mind and the interconnectedness between the two.
Mindfulness deepens our experience of this very moment, of this very
breath, of this very asana. It cultivates a friendly attitude to our
own capacity and limitations.
Ognjen obtained his 200 hour Yoga-Alliance accreditation
with Vivi Letsou, in NYSY studios, Athens, in 2008, where he now teaches
and works towards his 500 hour diploma. In Anusara, Ognjen finds the
method closest to him, having gone through teacher trainings with
Desiree Rumbaugh, Martin Kirk, Noah Maze and BJ Galvan. Ognjen’s teaching
style is uplifting, combining world music with dynamic flow and Anusara
alignment principles. He is grateful for having discovered yoga and
for being able to share it with others.
Karin is a meditation teacher, practicing mindfulness
meditation since 1998. She obtained her 200 hour Yoga-Alliance teacher
training in NYSY studios, Athens. She is trained in Swedish massage
and reiki since early 90s and runs the IRIS studio on Amorgos where
she lives since 1993. She discovered yoga thanks to the teachers who
come to the IRIS studio and found in the combination of mindfulness
and yoga postures a beautiful opportunity to deepen and expand conscious
presence in every moment.
